It’s N5, the startup that develops software for the financial industry. Learn how to apply and discover the new role that just emerged in the job market.

Work at this company is structured around projects, not place of residence.
Artificial intelligence and data analysis are no longer futuristic concepts—they have become essential skills in today’s job market. Over the past year, global demand for specialists in these fields has grown by 30%, driven by the digital transformation taking place in industries such as finance, logistics, and healthcare.
More and more companies are seeking qualified professionals who can harness the potential of these technologies and optimize their processes.
In Argentina, the Permanent Observatory of the Software and IT Services Industry (OPSSI) projects sustained annual growth of 16% through 2028, driven by the need for talent with experience in full stack development, data science, and DevOps.
“We’ve observed a significant spike in demand for senior technology profiles. Today, the most in-demand talents are those who combine development, data, and AI. Organizations no longer need just code—they need collaborators who understand the business, automate processes, and design intelligent architectures,” explains Julián Colombo.
N5 is a multinational software company founded in 2017 with the goal of driving digital transformation in the financial sector. Now, it’s joining the hiring wave with an open search for 100 professionals to continue scaling its solutions and growing across Latin America.
“We doubled the size of the company in a year, with the same number of people—or even fewer. Artificial intelligence allowed us to increase productivity and redefine roles. Some positions became irrelevant, as one person with AI can now do ten times more. But new roles are also emerging.”
What is the new IT job role, and why is it key in the financial sector?
A new position is emerging in the banking world: the “AI Commander.” What does this role involve?
“This person manages and coordinates multiple artificial intelligence systems that support both employees and clients. They’re not customer-facing—they guide the machines to ensure they do their job well,” explains Julián Colombo.
For example, some companies already use virtual assistants to answer complex questions about financial products or to generate automated responses to hundreds of emails per day. Other AI tools analyze customer data and suggest to employees which client should be offered a loan or a credit card.
Some can even simulate conversations so employees can practice how to sell more effectively. All of this is overseen by the AI Commander, who acts as the team’s coach.
The advantage of these tools is that they allow much more people to be served in less time—without losing empathy. For example, if someone calls the bank after being robbed, AI can respond with sensitivity: ask if the person is okay, explain the next steps, and act quickly to protect their account.

Of course, this raises a question many people are asking: what happens to human jobs? Is AI coming to replace people? In part, yes—but it also creates new opportunities. In the past, a bank needed many employees to serve its customers. Now, with just one person and several AI systems, much more can be done.
This means that some roles will disappear, but others will emerge, as Colombo explains—such as the AI Commander, a role that will require training and new skill sets. “As with every technological revolution, there will be a period of change—but also a great opportunity to learn, adapt, and grow,” he adds.
