Argentina\u2019s publisher of financial software\u00a0N5 Now<\/strong>, a company that\u00a0Julian Colombo<\/strong>\u00a0heads, received funding from\u00a0Illuminate Financial Management<\/strong>\u00a0(a vehicle of\u00a0JP Morgan, Citi, Barclays, BNY Mellon, S&P Global<\/strong>, and\u00a0Jefferies<\/strong>) and\u00a0Exor Ventures<\/strong>\u00a0(see here a\u00a0previous post by\u00a0BeBeez<\/em><\/a>). The company also attracted the resources of\u00a0Madrone Capital Partners<\/strong>,\u00a0LTS Investments<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0ArpexCapital<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BeDimensional<\/strong>, an Italian deeptech startup that produces graphene and other two-dimensions crystals, attracted a 5 million euros investment that Eureka! Venture<\/strong> led with the support of LCA Studio Legale<\/strong> (see here a previous post by BeBeez<\/em><\/a>). DFGS<\/strong> assisted BeDimensional which earlier in February received 10 million from Cdp Venture Capital<\/strong>, Novacapital<\/strong> and ENI Next<\/strong>, the Boston-based corporate venture capital of Milan-listed oil giant ENI<\/strong>. Vittorio Pellegrini, Francesco Bonaccorso<\/strong> and Andrea Gamucci<\/strong> founded the company in 2016. BeDimensional has sales of 1.3 million, an ebitda of minus 2.6 million and a net financial debt ot 2.6 million. The company will invest the raised proceeds in its organic development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CarX<\/strong>, an Italian startup for the charging off-grid of lectric vehicles that Pierfrancesco Zanchi<\/strong> and Mario Fornaris<\/strong> founded, attracted a seed facility of 0.5 million euros from Camfin Alternative Assets<\/strong>, a joint venture that Camfin<\/strong> signed with Longmarch<\/strong> (a Luxembourg vehicle of Chinese investor Yushun Niu<\/strong>) (see here a previous post by BeBeez<\/em><\/a>). Camfin belongs to Longmarch Holding (34.94% since 2021), Marco Tronchetti Provera<\/strong> (31.79%), the Rovati Famiyl<\/strong> (14.01%), Unicredit, Intesa Sanpaolo, Alberto Pirelli<\/strong>, and Massimo Moratti<\/strong>. CarX will invest such proceeds in launching its first product by 1H24. CarX retained as advisors One Factory<\/strong> while Camfin Alternative Assets hired Legance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A-Road<\/strong>, an acceleration programme that Growth Capital<\/strong> launched in 2021, allowed Karrycar, StarTric, TimeFlow<\/strong>, and Truescreen<\/strong> to its fourth batch(see here a previous post by BeBeez<\/em><\/a>). The company may receive 0.2 million euros from Growth Engine<\/strong> (an investment holding that Michele Appendino, Marco Ariello, Andrea Marangione<\/strong>, and Fabio Mondini de Focatiis<\/strong> created) and up to a further 0.3 million from other co-investors ahead of their Series A Round with an early commitment of professional backers. The top ceos and mentors of the third batch are: Roger Abravanel<\/strong>, Ariello, Paola Bonomo<\/strong>, Tommaso Gamaleri<\/strong>, Milena Mondini<\/strong>, Duccio Vitali<\/strong>, Alessandro Petazzi<\/strong>, and Andrea Zocchi<\/strong>. The companies will receive support in terms of professional services from McKinsey & Company, Amazon Web Services, Legance, Carter&Benson, Sisvel, Studio Notai Associati Ricci e Radaelli, Studio CS e Press Play<\/strong>, and Expert A-Road<\/strong>. Mattia Stevanin<\/strong> and Marco Feltrin<\/strong> are the founers of Karrycar (logistic for cars). Eugenio Passanante<\/strong> and Francesco Napolitano<\/strong> founded StarTric, a medtech firm. Lorenzo Danese, Gianmarco Ferrante, Iacopo Albanese,<\/strong> and Federico Patrioli<\/strong> founded TimeFlow, an IT company, in 2020. Fabio Ugolini<\/strong> and Giuseppe Travasoni<\/strong> founded Truescreen.
